Jax Beach Brunch Haus
A full brunch room near the beach with a real vegan section, not one modified plate. Vegan pancakes, French toast, tofu scrambles, breakfast tacos, sausage, chorizo, and JUST Egg make this the useful answer when breakfast is the point of the trip.
JaxSpice Jacksonville Beach
The Jacksonville Beach location of a local Indian and Nepali group whose own menu currently labels 19 vegan dishes. It is useful for a mixed group because vegan choices sit beside the full curry, momo, tandoori, and bar menu.
Sushiko Japanese Restaurant
An Avondale sushi room with a separate vegan menu and far more than cucumber rolls. This is the mixed-table choice when one person wants traditional sushi and another wants rolls, appetizers, and entrees built as vegan food from the start.
The Albatross
Underbelly did not disappear. Longtime local music bookers Mike Ciero and Steve Blaisdell took over, renamed the Bay Street room The Albatross, and gave its menu the names of Jacksonville music venues that actually did close.
