The useful difference
Aardwolf and Bold City feel like neighborhood brewery stops. Strings is the easy answer when someone wants a full meal, the game is on, or children are coming with the group.
The old downtown brewery lists are wrong. Intuition Ale Works closed permanently on April 24, 2026. Its old website is still live, but the Bay Street taproom is not. Its permanent venue page explains what happened, and the closure also stays in our confirmed closures guide.
