Jacksonville Beaches Bars: Pick the Beach and the Kind of Stop

Choose an oceanfront drink, tequila bar, barbecue room, sports brewery, oyster patio, or easy family stop across Atlantic, Neptune, and Jacksonville Beach.

The three Beaches do not give you one bar scene. Choose the ocean, the food, or the kind of group you are bringing before you choose the address.

For a drink beside the Atlantic

The Lemon Bar is the direct answer. It sits on the sand at the end of Lemon Street in Neptune Beach. The ocean is the view, the dress is casual, and weather matters more here than it does at an indoor bar.

For tequila, tacos, or a mixed table

Flying Iguana sits one block back from the ocean at Beaches Town Center with a deep tequila list and a room that still works with children. TacoLu is the loud, loose Jacksonville Beach choice for Baja tacos and groups. Ajua is the better fit when someone at the table needs a full vegan menu rather than one modified dish.

For barbecue and beer

ABBQ Meat & Drink combines Texas-style barbecue with a large fenced backyard, cornhole, and room for a group. Mojo Kitchen pairs slow-smoked barbecue with a full bar and a blues-built room, though the venue says it is not booking live shows right now. Strings Sports Brewery brings its scratch kitchen, house beer, games, and basketball setup to the old Terry's Country Store.

For seafood, brunch, or Indian food

Sliders Oyster Bar is one block from the ocean with a patio, games, and putt-putt. Jax Beach Brunch Haus makes brunch the reason to go and carries a full vegan breakfast section. JaxSpice works for a group that wants curries, momo, tandoori dishes, and a clearly marked vegan list.

Venue details were checked against official sources through September 26, 2026. Oceanfront access, outdoor seating, and weekly events can change with weather.
