Jacksonville Bars With Live Music: Three Different Nights

Choose an all-ages original-music club, an outdoor food hall, or a late plant-based neighborhood bar with local bands.

These three rooms all have live music, but they solve three different plans. Pick the dedicated club, the outdoor group night, or the late neighborhood bar.

For original bands in a real club

Jack Rabbits is a 300-capacity room on Hendricks Avenue that has booked original bands for more than 25 years. It serves beer and wine, and its shows are all ages. Choose it when the artist is the reason for going out.

For an outdoor group night

The Block Jax is an outdoor food hall with live music, several food choices, group space, and a fenced play park for younger children. It works when one table is trying to combine music, dinner, drinks, and family time.

For local music and a late bar

The Walrus is the unusual one. The Murray Hill room serves only plant-based food, pours beer and wine, books local live music, stays open late, and keeps an arcade and pool tables in the mix.

Use the calendar, not only the venue name. Live music may happen on selected nights, and ticket or age rules can change by show. Each profile links to the freshest official schedule available.

All three venues were verified against official and dated local sources in September 2026. Other familiar Jacksonville names remain off this guide until their current status or music schedule is clear.
